A critical essay makes observations on a particular topic you have chosen which could be negative. This does not mean it cannot have a positive approach to make readers agree to your point of view. Any subject can be studied with a neutral approach. This approach tinged with critical appreciation or criticism can make interesting reading. The idea is to present it as one who has just academic interest in the subject. This would set your essay on the right approach. There are several other factors.
- You are analyzing either a book or article and presenting your view point. To be totally involved in this perspective, you have to be well versed with the book. This would ensure that your critical essay is devoid of all errors, and you have complied with all requirements to write a great essay.
