An English essay just like any other essay is a short composition of a writer’s viewpoint on a particular subject. It can be part of book reviews, newspaper editorials, e-zines, and other articles. Using the English language, an essay could be personal or formal. There are some basic differences between a personal and formal essay. Let us go into more detail about these differences.

1.  Personal essays are based on personal experiences and talk of personal attributes such as judgment and truth. Formal essays are impersonal and generally short.

This would require you to have certain basic language skills to be able to write UK essays. You have to practice autobiographies and the skill of personal and formal writing. It is not always specified about how you can approach writing for such an important entrance exam. The basic criteria are to see if you can express yourself well in English and write a good essay.

Even if you have excellent writing skills, assessors have the necessary experience to find out how good you are in the language and how much of truth in there in what you have written.  So always been short and clear in expressing just what you wish to.
