An essay structure has to be thought of to avoid the “walk-through” tendency of writing an essay where we tend to write out of habit and intuition rather than method or structure. The danger is we might be getting repetitive without knowing it. Also, there is a tendency to follow another writer without applying logic or developing our own ideas. This needs to be avoided if we are to develop into good writers. There are some basic methods of writing that always work irrespective of the type of essay we are writing.

Your essay should answer the queries readers might have at different stages of the essay. You have to think in advance and answer these questions for readers. For example, you might place an argument at the beginning of the body of the essay. The reader has a counter argument immediately and needs a clarification to agree with your point of view. Only then will the reader be motivated to continue. If you have anticipated the query, you would have placed the justification to your argument at several places in your essay including immediately after the argument itself. This puts the reader at ease, and it becomes easier to relate to the rest of the essay.

An essay plan would cover the very same principles but in a broad sense. Your plan would have several arguments and justifications scattered throughout the essay. These would be interlinked and directly linked to the thesis statement or the main topic. If your plan is in place, your essays structure or essay outline would be very easy to compile.

A good essay is very easy to read and provides information that would be useful. So choose a topic that would interest a large section of readers. Custom writing an essay is an easy task. It allows you to write freely and with confidence. You could start with a custom essay and then go on to write other essays that demand that you write in a particular style of writing.

Ask the question “what?” A broad-based answer should be that the research and justifications have proved your thesis statement to be true. You need to demonstrate this for all the arguments you place in the essay. Next you ask the question, “How?” You do this by quoting from sources that are widely accepted as reliable by all readers. When you quote from such sources, readers and convinced of the authenticity of the information. Lastly, ask the question “Why?” Readers like to follow an essay which they feel is relent to the current times and would be of benefit to them in general. If your essay finds many readers who are interested, you have answered the question with the right answer.

Lastly, the essay format should also account for how long the essay would have to be in terms of the word count. You should have some guideline as to how much research would be required to complete an essay of say 500 words. This comes with practice, but if you have a structure in place, you can always fine tune the essay structure and write much faster and with less effort the next time you attempt an essay.
