A music essay is a passion with many students. Life would really be difficult if we did not have music in our lives. Nature has provided us the sources to create enchanting music out of instruments made from Earth’s output. While many hum a tune when they are happy, writing a song for that very tune would be the final destination for a true connoisseur of music. Collecting one’s thoughts to create a song would truly be a high in a musician’s life.

We are exposed to music quite early in our lives, even before we learn to walk and speak. The bedtime nursery rhymes that put us to sleep were truly music to our ears. It is not very difficult to understand why a simple nursery rhyme would have this effect. The words may not make sense at the time, but they had a soothing effect. You could write a reflective essay about it. How do words matter in music? A tune is left incomplete if we cannot express it in words.

Short essays are written very easily, as we have to focus on a topic for a short period of time. Once we have our thoughts focused on the topic, ideas pour out if we let our imagination run wild. A music essay should reflect such thoughts for it to be appreciated by others. The thought process should flow within the music with words written from the heart. It does not have to be planned or organized in a systematic manner. What does matter is that it rhymes with the music.

When you write an English essay, you are familiar with the language. You would have learned grammar, sentence structure, and your vocabulary on the language would be exhaustive. Collecting your thoughts over a music essay should therefore be easy if you write it in English. The same logic applies when you write in any language. Music is enchanting and should allow you to express it in so many words. Whenever you are inspired by words that rhyme with the music, write it down. As you write several times over a period of time, you may come up with an inspiring song.

The principles adapted when writing a music essay is similar to other essays. You have to prepare an essay outline that includes all the content inspired by your thoughts over a piece of music. Suppose you were to write an art coursework, you would include graphics and a descriptive analysis of a work of art. In a music essay, you would write musical notes to create a relation between the words adapted and the music. After a while, you would be singing a song without referring to the notes.

Music is a passion that has managed to stir emotions among the peoples of different generations. Musicians have always been appreciated for the joy they bring into the lives of so many. People have identified with it through words. Collect your thoughts over a piece of music you heard, and attempt to write your first song. Your music essay could include the song. The joy of getting others to read it should encourage you to write further.
